History of Link Crew
Link Crew was started 25 years ago as “The Boomerang Project” by Mary Beth Cambell and Carolyn Hill. As high school teachers, the pair had a desire to improve the world for the future generations. Motivated by this desire, they left their jobs and implemented the program in small schools. After seeing the success of it, they had no choice but to move on with Link Crew and apply its ideologies across the nation, leaving us with the program we have today.

Link Crew President: Ms. Bernie
Ms. Bernie has been teaching 9th grade English Language Arts for 7 years, but the 21-22 school year will be her fourth year at Inderkum. This will be Ms. Bernie's second year coordinating the link crew program. Her favorite part about leading the program is to see new 9th graders (and sometimes new students to Inderkum) have a memorable first experience in high school and build mentor like relationships with 11th and 12th graders. Working closely with the link core team, and then watching the core team lead the rest of the 150+ leaders, inspires her to believe that each young person has the power to lead and change the world.
